GIBRALTAR TRIP

Hellooo everybody!
Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Gibraltar with the English Department last May (12th, 13th and 14th). We were out for three days. On our FIRST DAY we visited Marbella and Puerto Banús. We spent our SECOND DAY in Gibraltar, filling up a questionnaire about some aspects of history, culture and society on the Rock. There, we took a tour around the Rock. We went up to Europe's Point and saw the North of Africa; we got in Saint Michael's Caves...and, of course, saw the Apes (Barbary Macaque or Macacus Sylvanus). Remember them? And, finally, on THE LAST DAY we went to Selwo Adventure Park, where we saw animals in the wild and had lots of fun with the suspended bridges. HAVE A LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AND HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM!

We celebrated Andalusia's Day with lots of activities in our school: Traditional Recipes and Class Decoration Contest; a short Conference 'Andalusia Through Foreign Eyes' (2nd Edition); traditional singing and dancing...lots of FUN! We also took the chance to hand out the SAINT VALENTINE'S CARDS CONTEST prizes to the winners. Everybody made a big effort and the outcome was EXCELLENT! Here are some pictures as usual!!!

SCHOOL PEACE DAY

This year to celebrate Non Violence and Peace Day we watched a movie in English during the TUTORIAL and the ENGLISH CLASSES. The title of the film is LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. My students had to write a summary of the film in English and express their opinion about the plot. The best one was chosen among the whole class of 4th YEAR OF ESO (COMPULSORY SECONDARY EDUCATION).
